Non-Nano Zinc Oxide

Zinc Oxide (ZnO) is powdered, oxidized zinc derived from the naturally occurring mineral, zincite.

Nano – a nanoparticle is a particle smaller than 100 nanometers. Therefore a non-nano particle is larger than 100nm. Our non-nano zinc oxide has been tested to be far more above 100nm.

Process: Our Zinc oxide is made by milling and making it to powder.

Tocopherol (Vitamin E)

Tocopherol is a type of vitamin E and natural antioxidant that is derived from vegetable oil. At PURU SUISSE we only use low doses that is wholly derived from refined wheat germ oil and we use it as an antioxidant and a natural preservative. The Wheat germ we use is also NON-GMO so can be used in certified organic products.

Process: Wheat germ oil is extracted from the germ of the wheat kernel. Wheat germ oil has lots of nutritious benefits.

Theobroma (Organic Cacao Seed Butter)

Our Organic Cacao Butter comes from Organic Cacao beans and nothing else.

Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda)

Our Baking Soda originates in the EU and is naturally occuring in mineral deposits. We use this baking soda in our PURU natural deodorant and as it is a known and widely used effective ingredient for this use.

Cocos Nucifera Oil (Organic Coconut Oil)

Coconut Oil is obtained from the dried inner flesh of the coconut. Coconut oil is an edible oil and excellent moisturizer for the skin. Organic coconut oil can also be used for strengthening hair and as a massage oil.

Derived from: Coconut.
Process: Cold Pressed coconut oil by expressing oil from coconut is all natural does not involve the use of any chemicals. Instead, the oils are extracted by way of pressing on the coconut at a temperature below 120 degrees Fahrenheit, within an expeller press. The expeller press puts pressure on the natural coconut flesh and the oil seeps out. This process allows the oil to hold onto subtle flavors that are otherwise lost at higher temperatures.

Coco-Caprylate/Caprate (Coconut Extract)

Coco-caprylate-caprate is a natural based emollient and skin-conditioning agent naturally derived from coconut oil that ensures our sunscreen is hydrating with a smooth consistency.

Process: A straight, unbranched wax ester made of coconut and a
defined blend of fractionated fatty acids of vegetable origin.

Manihot Esculenta Root Starch (Cassava)

Our Cassava derives from the EU and is simply made from the whole, white part of the cassava root. The root is dried and finely ground to produce a finely textured gluten-free flour.

Cera Alba (Organic Beeswax)

Beeswax is the solid natural material produced by honey bees to build their honeycomb. We use it as as a natural emollient and thickening agent. It’s super in our lip balms.

Process: Our all natural organic beeswax is 100% pure and carefully filtered to be free of debris. We gently melt and transform the organic beeswax into a consistency perfect for blending into our products.

Butyrospermum Parkii Butter (Organic Shea Butter)

Shea Butter comes from the seeds of African Shea or Karite Tree and is a magnificent natural moisturiser and emollient.

It regenerates and soothes the skin, protects it from external factors (such as UV or wind) and is also rich in antioxidants such as vitamin A, E, and F. Many of PURU product contain tis magic ingredient.

Process: We use a refined and food-grade Organic Shea Butter extracted from the seeds of the African Shea Tree. The refinement process uses no chemicals and removes odors resulting in smooth luxurious mixture. This also ensures the freshness of the product that won’t lose its effectiveness over time.
